Nokia Lumia 520 Hands-On

Along with the Nokia Lumia 720, Aaron gets some time with the Lumia 520, a low-end Windows Phone that still packs some solid specifications for a low price of €99. The Lumia 520 offers a 4-inch display, 5-megapixel camera (though it's lacking a front-facing shooter), and Windows Phone 8. Much like the other Lumia devices, it comes in a range of colors.

In addition to the global launch, the Lumia 520 will be coming to T-Mobile in the coming months as the Nokia Lumia 521. We'll have full review coverage when we get it in the office, so be sure to stay tuned!

Bought this 3 days back (yellow), it's really good, bright display, 4"screen, 8GB internal storage (4.57 user available) with expandable memory upto 64GB, a good camera and decent battery life.

You can really see how this phone's screen is responsive to the touch. There seems to be virtually no lag between the touch/swipe and executing the action.
I've never seen an Android device responding this quick.

Going to launch in india on 1st April 2013.. this is not a joke.. and there is no LED flash bcoz L720 has that with almost same shape. larger screen and more... but this is the best lumia. am an android user and wanna switch to WP8 so definitely gonna have this.. love you Nokia

I've been using one for about a year, and the only apps that aren't on it that I would want would be Instagram and Pinterest, and the rumor is Instagram will come out with a WP app this summer (not sure about Pinterest). But there are many apps on it, approaching 200, 000 now. Trust me, you'll find plenty.

None, lumia 521 is a unit selling in USA only by tmobile because 520 isnt shipping to US

I love to try windows phone, but lack of apps gives me a second thought. I like that cinematic effect and other fun camera effects.

I think that is a PhoneDog mistake. Everywhere else that I've seen it it has been listed as 140 euros.
