Love my MSR Reactor. It’s the best system I’ve used, and it works like a charm. This is my go to, and haven’t used anything else for several years. It’s freaking awesome in high wind conditions up in the mountains 👍🏻👍🏻🇳🇴

Yeah mine turned out to be a false economy ... i went back to my vango floor level folding stove .. my msr wouldnt simmer, its full steam ahead or nothing ? No good for cooking at all . Shame theyre a stupid price . If you want to boil water fast for brews ok great but boiling stuff is only one thing a stove should simmer or turn low without extinguishing itself mine just doesnt .. i found it burns the food to in the centre of the pot . Jet boilers do a lot .. i found other stoves that spread the flame wider to be much better at controlling your heat settings ...and not welding stuff to the pot

The reactor is junk. Don't waste your money. If overheated it will shut off the valve and this could be fixed only at factory!! It happened to me during backpacking trip and I had to cut the trip because of that. :((
