How To Paint Realistic Stone For Tabletop Terrain & Miniatures In Under 60 Seconds #shorts

So I'm trying something a little different today and making a YouTube #shorts

I've been painting my stone watchtower for Elder Scrolls Call to Arms and wanted to put together a guide on how I've gotten a really nice stone texture that looks realistic and that I'm super happy with. So I thought what better way to show you all than to equally test out these shorts and show you how I did it in 60 seconds :)

This is a great method for tabletop terrain or tabletop miniatures

Think I like the format of this. Nice, short, helpful tutorial.

Good job, Sam! Very nice tutorial, simple and effective! I like to paint my flagstone terrain just like this. Besides grey and yellow, I also use some burnt amber and dark green to pick up the stones further. And if it ends up too dark after the wash, you can always end up with a very light drybrush of white or bone to make the details pop again. Keep it up!

P.S.- really looking forward to see your Mirmulnir painted! No pressure here ;)

Was truly impressed until you washed over top the dry brush. Doing that tones down your high points. If your going to do a wash use it after your base and layers but before edge highlights and dry brushing.
