Canon Unveils EOS 77D and Rebel T7i Entry-Level DSLRs
Canon has released two entry-level DSLRs, the EOS Rebel T7i (also known as the EOS 800D) and the EOS 77D (also known as the EOS 9000D). Confusing names aside, the cameras share many of the same specifications, including a 24-megapixel CMOS APS-C sensor with Dual Pixel AF, a 45-point all-cross-type autofocus system, 6fps burst shooting with autofocus, and 1080/60p video. Both cameras sport 3-inch touchscreen LCDs as well as Wi-Fi, NFC and Bluetooth image-transfer options.

The $150 that separates the two cameras buys you a few enthusiast features: the (all-important) AF-On button, as well as various other custom controls; a top LCD panel; and built-in interval and bulb timers.

Shipping in April, the EOS Rebel T7i will cost for $750 (body only), while the EOS 77D is priced at $900 (body only).
