Coronavirus Box Office Predictions

I don't even know how to begin writing the description of this video right now. It's going to be a rough weekend at the box office for our three new wide releases - I Still Believe, Bloodshot and The Hunt. Do any of them have a chance at making much money given the coronavirus pandemic? Catch my thoughts in this new round of box office predictions.

I think this weekend's box office is gonna be a disaster. Everyone is freaking out about buying toilet paper, going to the movies to see Onward or The Hunt is the last thing on a lot of people's minds. Streaming services are gonna see their servers working extra hard this weekend.

I still a bit surprised Disney isn’t pushing back Mulan. I would think they wouldn’t want to risk it since that was a very expensive movie to make and they don’t have the Chinese box office to help boost it. Guess we’ll see what’s going to happen in a couple weeks🤷🏻‍♀️

I seriously hate the coronavirus. A Quiet Place 2 was the only wide release on March 20th, so basically that means there's nothing coming out next weekend. We have to wait until April of next year for Fast 9 which means SpongeBob 3 has the Memorial Day weekend to itself so far. I wonder if Disney will delay Mulan which is the only wide release on March 27th? Also I realized New Mutants now has the weekend to itself after Peter Rabbit 2 and The Lovebirds got delayed.

Hi Perri! Love the channel. Yeah I can’t remember the last time the box office was as big of a question mark as this weekend. I genuinely think it was probably the weekend after 9/11. No one had any idea what was gonna happen and if and when people would go back to the movies.

My Spy and Emma didn't make Perri's list ? Another good movie is My Hero Academia Heroes Rising. All three movies are available for viewing in Canadian theaters.

No reports of Covid-19 in my county yet, so I'll probably go this weekend. Once there are cases in my county, I might stay away.

Don't worry, but just make sure you avoid going to movies or restaurants until this blows over... just to be safe. Might take 3-6 months. I think I had Covid19 in mid-January. It lasted 3 weeks. Totally recovered now.

So the COVID-19 arrived to my country a few days ago. I'm considering going to the movies because the number of infected people is low, but I don't know, going forward if the number keeps going up probably I'm gonna stop and try to buy movies online or Netflix. I know I'm not in the risk group but members of my family are and I dont wanna put them in danger.
