Sir why did we take the length 2 for question 12? Isn’t the distance supposed to be in the same direction of the force? So shouldn’t we take 15?

In q.10, Y do we use m=70 for ma, isnt the m of the lift and students combined mass??

in q12, how did sin0 become 2/15? i don’t understand it

Can someone please tell me why in Question 12 it's w1 = 50 x 9.81 x 2/15 x 2 and not w2 = 50 x 9.81 x sin(7.7) x 2 ?
