Just beautiful..i mean this is the ultimate video that you can make to point what an amateur does not do correctly...I wanted a good looking and powerful service and I still practice in the mirror to see what I am doing...and I realised one thing that is very important to me...how you sync the toss with the knee bending...I mean if we look at the beginning of the video this guy is starting the toss already with his knees bended and I tried to bend the knees at the same moment when I start the toss...it helped a lot and it naturally got my left arm to finish higher... great stuff guys!!!

What I love about this video is showing how progressing through long-standing habits to new technique is a challenge. It takes more than a single block of instruction or a session of reps. The guidance is key to getting a head start, with video to confirm or devy what changes are actually being made. Outstanding stuff. Would love to see the changes in a few weeks/months with more focused reps headed in this direction of improvement.

There were some great tips in this lesson. I have a decent serve that's consistent, however I'm always looking to improve it. As soon as I saw the slow mo clips of Nadal I recognize exactly what I've not been doing. I made some adjustments last night playing based on your tips and the clips of Nadal and the results were great. Thank you ET!

4:40 You need to tell this guy to have his right foot in front of his left foot so that he can angle his chest back further. That helped me greatly to get more power. He may not have the mobility for it though.

Very good video and thank you for posting it Ian. One thing I have noticed is that he stops at the trophy pose for a second. He must be losing a bit of power because of this.

Ian, you sound a little under the weather. Maybe a sign that I know your voice really well given I've watched so many of your videos. They've helped me a ton. Keep cranking them out. Thanks!

do you think his foot position made it difficult to twist and find the trophy position?

Is there a particular reason that I'm good at singles, but completely suck at doubles?

its funny to see your bald head and trying this.. hope you realize these techniques are not needed for you at this age.. because these techniques require physical fitness to match . otherwise you will be injured .. best of luck
