Cincinnati Pride festivities kick off with 45th annual parade

CINCINNATI (WKRC) - Celebrating diversity and unity: The 45th annual Cincinnati Pride parade kicks off Saturday morning followed by an all-day festival.

The parade begins at 11 a.m. at Seventh Street and Central Avenue. It will then make its way down Vine Street and end at Sawyer Point.

ollowing the parade, the festival will run until 9 p.m. at Sawyer Point and Yeatman's Cove with food, drinks, family fun and music.

This is the 45th year for the event. The first Pride celebration was held in Cincinnati April 6-8, 1973. It has since grown into a week-long celebration of our LGBT community and their contributions to our city.
