East is far better... Seychelles, Mauritius and Comoros just because are not on the mainland doesn't mean they are not in the east, your reason to exclude them doesn't make any sense. Infact these countries consider themselves east Africa.

Uganda takes the lead on security in EA so you cant ignore it. In terms of Infrastructural development, you need to visit Kamplala, DRC, Burindi and South Sudan are part of the EA. Kindly do some more research.

So in summation, west Africa is far more prosperous, in terms of natural resources but the average east African enjoys a better standard of living than their counterparts in the west, due to a smaller population, better governance, and less corruption and hard-core criminality.

Secondly, yes East Africa gas better managed cities. However,
Western Africa has better villages overall. So rural life, I will give to Western Africa. Urban living, I will give to Eastern Africa.
