If the result is in negetive value it's showing an error. What is the solution?

I have time sheet worked out with percentage of hours not h:m I have large if formular in there all works great but I want to change to hours min have managed to get half done but if formular is mucking it up when I put in format [h]:mm or any others I get #### etc trouble is they have to work full 38 hours before they get overtime so short day is taken out of overtime on other days hence the if formular how do I format if formular to hours minutes I think the if formular is mucking things up
