Much of the western United States began the morning with the view of a super blue blood moon total eclipse. In this silent time lapse video, the complete eclipse is seen over NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, located at the base of the San Gabriel Mountains near Pasadena, California.

Nice! Missed it here in the grey skies of New England.

Finally a accurate view of what I saw this morning over the ocean in Oxnard, California. The closeup views don't show the motion or the sky gradually changing as the Moon went down and the sun came up. The color and brightness of the moon was just like in this video. The only thing that was a little off was at the end it wasn't nearly as bright out. If you stop the video near the end it looks like full daylight but if you look closely lights are still on and the sun never lit the mountains. This is probably do to them setting one aperture or light setting for the camera and leaving it. Well Done!

I saw it yesterday. What an incredible experience it was! Now I just want to experience a Solar Eclipse and then I can die peacefully.

*_...that's not blue, that's red...and it doesn't have a blue halo, to be called, 'blue'...also it doesn't appear "total" in your video, (and didn't look total this morning here, neither)..._*
