Wonderfully explained. I have a point to add here; I'm from Odisha and I have seen simultaneous elections since I was a kid. People are extremely poor in many part of our state, but trust me, they vote who they want to. There's no confusion. In our constituency itself, which is a reserved one for SC/ST, people voted for a BJD MLA and a BJP MP in 2019. Even at the height of Modi wave, Naveen Patnaik won here comfortably. There may be arguments for people's choices at times, but I don't think people getting confused will be an issue. People are a lot less naive than we think they are.
