If I want to do a 4:2:2 live stream, using my X-T3 & Atomos Ninja V on a Macbook PRO - what capture card should I pick? I don't need it to be 4K (I guess).

Hehehe, you have the same setup I do with the Ninja V in between, the Magewell 4K was the only of the 5 capture cards I’ve tested that works flawless with the Ninja V feed

Can you also use the AVerMedia 4K to record something like DNxHR / ProRes @ 4K 10 bit 25/50p? I want to use it mainly for streaming with my GH5 but if it offers that option that'd be great to record my projects directly on my PC. Thanks in advance! 🙂

Also, did you have a video on how to grade the live stream image though the ninja V? Does it just come out nice from the HDMI output or do I need to apply some settings? I have a ninja inferno but haven't gotten into the streaming yet (that's the next thing I'm looking into) and it could possibly save me a lot of rendering time if I don't have to color grade.

Question: I’m curious about how much latency going through the Atomos for LUT application is ?
I stream into Zoom/Skype for live conference calls and I use HLG with assist on the HDMI output from the GH5, but I’m wondering if I can make colour improvements without adding latency by using Atomos to apply a LUT.

Great video. I enjoy seeing that my humble 1st gen (non-4K) Elgato CamLink is #1 for low latency. It's a little quirky at times, but a good option and I'm sorry it was discontinued. Often 4K is just overkill, and not all apps are good at downscaling it. If it suddenly dies, I will look into that 1080p AverMedia mini you showed -- thanks for the tip.
