This light has all I want in an around the house light. You are correct in saying that one reason I bought it is because of the AA batteries.

Man, I'm waiting for a time when AA torches will have the sturdiness to be mounted as gunlights.

Here is my main problem most of the lights are not tail cap operated. It really limits the light in most situations one hand operation is needed say it you are walking your dogs or if you have to draw your firearm. It seems they are learning though.

What do you think of keeping it on firefly and carrying in your weak hand if you are in a bad area, then using the strobe feature as a distraction to buy you time to draw your concealed carry? No one would notice firefly mode and it want drain your batteries. Also you would have it to use as a impact device kubaton style. Thanks for all you do...you have a great channel.

Looks like my Olight St25 - 2xAA flashlights are cool and definitely have place on the market. What are the common prices of a good cr123 battery on the US market - here are around 3/4 $ for one battery and not easy to buy everywhere so AA flashlights are prefered...

I know nothing about flashlights, and was wondering if there are any that are good for carry but can also be mounted on a rifle?
