Looks like it is just like using my 520 which is nice but I bought the 635 because of the brighter screen.

I have both phones and never had any problems with the 520. Had it for like 8 months. Only bought the 635 cause it was 0.5" bigger lol 3 rows of tiles were way to small on the 520. Plus the 635 was only like $150 at telus/koodoo so SCORE!!! :) Its black though :( I want the lime green back plate!!

My Lumia 635 scored 5000 points higher than my Lumia 521 on antutu benchmark test. Plus the screen is bigger, brighter, crisper and has gorilla glass. I would definitely recommend people to get the Lumia 635 or 521. I paid only $64.99 (t-mobile) at best buy last week for Lumia 635. It is well worth the $129.99 retail price.

I do find that the 635 seems to run smoother and display nicer visually than the 520 and als the feel of the curbed edges over the pointy edges. However I was disappointed to find the 635 does not have auto adjust for the brightness which I personally find to be a useful feature and I can't figure out why it doesn't. It also doesn't have double tap to turn on which the 520 does although that's probably because it was made to be extra sensitive for gloves and nails.

I thought about getting this lumia 635 phone, comparing it to the lumia 520...the 635 does have 2 more cores, but is otherwise the same. Still lowish 512mb ram. And everybody swore up and down the dual core Lumia 520 was good enough and very smooth for a windows phone, so I don't think a quad core is needed. Also they should of included a front facing camera on the 635...even the older lumia 630 has a front facing camera. I've been wanting a windows phone though to try it out....are 2 more cores and a slightly bigger 4.5inch screen compared to the lumia 520's 4inch screen really worth 50 more bucks? The 635 is 99bucks on amazon, while the lumia 520 is 48 dollars at walmart >_>

By the way my parents both have a 520 and i think its a good little phone thats easy for them to use, only thing i dislike is how chunky it is, and it looks abit boring, apart from that its fine.

635's design looks much nicer
