The 90-Minute Plywood Cart (that costs only $70)

I was in desperate need of a plywood cart--just ask my wife about the heap of scrap wood in our garage! I wanted something super simple, cheap, and very fast to build.

This car accomplishes all of those objectives! The wood itself costs about $50 and the wheels were another $20. Many of you might have the plywood in your scrap pile (like I did) which means that you'll only need to drop $20 on some 2x4 lumber!

This is great, thanks. Most other carts on YouTube seem to be massively over engineered, or waste tons of plywood on the support, when slats will work fine. This looks like a much better solution.

Great simple build, i bought the plans and made it about a foot longer and 4" or 5" wider on the full sheets side. I've been using it for about two months now, it feels very sturdy and comfortable to use.

Plans are simple and easy to read.

Building this today. Don't think I'll get done in 90 minutes, but definitely no more than 2 hours. Great build. Some of it was just figuring out measurements. Buying the plans probably would have cut off that last 30 minutes. How long did you make yours? I made mine a full 8', which is pretty big. But that's how long sheets are. Yours just looks shorter.
