Stuff the haters. This watch looks good. I mean really good. It’s distinctive and classy, and you don’t see a lot of them. I’ll bet that ends up a long term keeper. No buyers remorse. Good.

Lots of things about this one that aren't for me, but I'm chuffed that you really like it.

Thanks for review. Love the combo of green and blue.

Nice one. The QC is quite surprising though.

Imperial Watch has a GMT with a similar coloured bezel. It also has a nicely tapering bracelet with on the fly micro adjustment for about 15% of the cost and the 20mm lug width will fit any normal strap. Amazing to me the lugs are so long and they still put the holes too close to the case…

Agreed. I own the 747 Community Watch and have no issue with your assessment, straight up. I love this watch though, even with all the short fallings. Surprisingly, to me, whenever I'm in the UK it's the only watch I get compliments on. I would say Bremont is a very much recognized brand in the UK from this.

It surprises me about the poor QC on this watch. I have the Broadsword Recon which is my first and only Bremont watch. I've found the quality to be superb (although admittedly I dont have a macro lense!). Thanks for the review.

The QC is surprising because i have owned a couple of them over the years and found that aspect to be a lot better than a brand like CW, for example.

One thing i dont think you mentioned in your review is their case hardening technology, which is similar to Sinn, but supposedly harder.

To some of the comments from people that have never owned this line of watches, I have as well as the BB58 which basically has a far better movement / heritage / brand recognition. The Bremont has a tough unique case / beautiful crown (smoothest winding) / sharp engravings / bezel. The Tudor has a better dial / movement / brand / heritage but is nowhere near as robust. The Tudor when taken off the bracelet feels rough / unfinished between the lugs, the case materials on the Tudor are very cheap and I knocked about both watches and the Tudor’s movement failed after a small knock against the wall. The tudor’s dial and bracelet are far superior. My point is people often compare Bremont to watches that cost 25% of the price but really they should be compare price wise to Breitling rather than a Christopher Ward. Can’t be compared to micro brands either because you have a full service centre / boutiques and manufacturing facility

Never been a fan of their models and heard they were not worth retail but value for money 2nd hand, although their rebrand has made them even less desirable to me

Good looking watch but maybe Bremont should have focused less on the packaging the watch came with and more on details on the products. I can see why Bremont is struggling. This is a very competitive price point. For me I would consider several alternative watches with better movements and are better executed.

Not my cup of tea, but as a Seahawks fan those colors make it tempting

Been looking at this exact model for some time now. Really like it but not willing to pay full RRP in the UK.

I haven't really considered Bremont before, but it does look like a nice watch to me. I find the colors quite attractive (despite the odd choice with the date wheel), I like the size, the movement, the unusual case design that seems to be more than a gimmick, the bracelet looks comfy (I agree beads of rice would suit it). Disappointing about the cleanup job needed inside, but that's totally fixable and you did get a discount. It's a very nice watch IMO. Thanks for the show & tell with it. 👍

I am checking out the U-2 DLC but still hesitant about the reliability of the watch hence that model was released way back in 2015 i think. Any suggestion or comment about the watch. Thank you!

My AD has one on blue rubber but its still £2.5 I might consider this over a BB blue (used) which is my current target. Dissapointing about the lume

Not a big fan of them, It does look good. Have a similar Islander with a Selita 330, down side but doesn't effect me, not a big traveler. Keep the GMT hand on Central European time.

Using a unidirectional bezel with a 24 hour/GMT insert is careless and lazy. The previous S302 model was a dive watch (timing bezel), with a GMT complication— and that makes a lot of sense. Most recreational divers take their dive trips away from their home time zone. But the decision to keep the unidirectional bezel while pivoting the S302 to feature the 2 time zone capability was one of the first indicators revealing where the Davide Cerrato era is headed.
