Sometimes we let the need for "perfection" rule our creative process. But what if we approached creativity without a set end goal in mind? What if we allowed ourselves to just enjoy creating for its own sake? That creative spark will come and go, but if we try not to force it, perhaps we'll enjoy the process even more.

Can't agree more with you Ana Marta!

Creativity is about create your own world where no one can tell you what to do. Others might say 'this is beautiful, this is rubbish', the fact you are the one who truly understand what you've create. A process that conveys and describes your messages through a quite mind and it keeps your heart alive

For me creativity is finding a conexion between two things that normally don’t come together, like a date with some tahini (if you haven’t taste it, it’s great, I promise!)
Usually, when I want to create something I become an obstacle to myself because of that searching of perfection, but if I really like what I’m doing the suffering it’s worth it!

P.S : I love your plasticine creation!

Creativity is the biggest bully I have ever had to face. It pushes you do do things when you don't feel prepared and challenges you to grow when you don't think you're ready. But in light of that it will also forever be my best friend.
Wonderful job again Ana! Very creative ;)

Creativity can lead to crazy, annoying yet exciting opportunities. What were times that YOU had that creative push? Let us know!!

This is beautiful. It's so true. When you just go with the flow and let your creative soul just drive with no judgements, that's the real beauty. When there is judgement, you really hold yourself back!

I actually find that doodling while you're at a party is the easiest way to break the ice for like minds. I don't like small talk, and how limiting it is, so instead I find it easier to just do something unusual at a party when no one is talking. It's something to focus on, and sometimes leads to other even more interesting topics, depending on how the conversation goes. Art is far more social than most people realize.

Honestly, the way I do things is that I never have a clear goal or end result for anything. I have an idea, and I just start creating and see how it ends. This happens a lot to me with videos, I don't even know how the video is going to look like until I'm editing it. This process lets my creativity run free but it's also kind of frustrating because you don't know if it will turn out good, or if it's going to be a complete mess. Loved this video Ana, the editing was on point! and the animations as well! x

Oh my god Ana this is brilliant!
Creativity being a little creature on your shoulder is the most accurate comparison of creativity I've come across so far.

This is amazing! I've been suffering a creative block for quite a while now but I'm starting to feel inspired again and everything's slowly falling into place. I hope my creativity just blossoms with the nice weather :)

Your remark about creativity leading to the real-world-existence of things that once only existed in your head really captures one of the most rewarding parts of creating things, from my POV. I felt the creative push (more like an itch, as you described it) on one cloudy Spring evening, when, somehow, the amount of sunlight and the textures of leaves and pavement were just right, so that I witnessed a visual transformation of some trees I once thought were unremarkable. I wanted to capture every part of this scene in writing and I created a description that I was satisfied by in the end. The entire process was remarkable, and I felt so much better (less itchy, if you will) once this beauty also existed outside of my mind. Great video--thanks for putting this out here!

So freaking good, Ana! We're quite literally able to create and curate the world around us! Such a cool sentiment! I love how transformative the creative process can be. Something can come out entirely different then what you planned and be a lot greater than you even expected. You have to keep an open mind when you're creating so you don't get to frustrated and focused on your original plan. But it's still got to have a bullet pointed plan to keep you on track :)

idea exploration is a process we need to continue to encourage in all facets of our growth!

your words resonate so much with me and my head's crazy colors! :) creativity can be so hard and intimidating sometimes... kinda like navigating a super cool city-- but once you pick a direction and just go for it, there's so much to explore: and little treasures of places you never expected to find!!

I feel the similar. I often think inspirations from other peoples works are enough to fuel me up for creating my own stuff. But many times, a product of creativity bears from other things that we dare to take personally until you stop judging and accept that it's part of life's diversity. Until you find your own opinion about what's going on around you, and how you see different ways to approach them or maybe better solutions to problems. But the final product is not always a solution. But sometimes a question that leads peoples minds to new directions. Thank you for this video. Just what I need today.

For me, creativity is largely linked to pain. I don''t emotionally connect with the world around me, so I need other drivers to word into my stories. When I think about poverty for example, settings and characters populate that idea by themselves simply because of the idea of poverty. Or falling and scraping your knee. I can imagine the place it happened automatically, I can hear the background noise and I can even characterise the person and their wound. For whatever reason, pain is one of my few sources of creativity. And that in and of itself, fascinates me to no end; sometimes leading to more creativity. It truly is a mysterious cycle for all minds.

It's been five years since I wrote my first book - I can appreciate the "itch" comes and goes, it's fleeting for me at least. Loved the video, thanks for sharing your story. Cheers. - GM

Sometimes even holding a pen to start an artwork scares me to think that lines will not be perfect and outputs won't be as good. But, just realized that things don't need to be perfect as long as I am having fun and am able to express myself. Then even random and imperfect strokes will make me happy.

I love this! I can totally relate, but I've never been able to articulate it properly. I feel like one of the worst things for my creativity is trying to force it closer to the finish line and not letting it just flow. It can be a tedious process, but its always totally worth it when you step back and look at the end result

have scheduled time a day that you do your craft everyday even when not inspired. And keep going even after many restart, reshoots. Frustrating process but worth it 😊
