This thing is AWESOME, it's a beast, better than anything I have ever seen/used/owned. Love the AI capability it has, all that power, what's not to love...

I'm a retired graphic artist and programmer. I use AI for photo restoration and another AI app to restore old video footage. These last two things use a lot of system resources. However, a laptop with 4090 graphics and fast CPU may just change things around.

Keep up the amazing work Hugh! Dang! That system looks amazing... Made such a huge investment in the best I could get here but Im finding the support and user base networking really sucks! As far as AI... As a pro photographer, and VR fanatic (especially stereo filmmaking) it's really difficult to accept AI as a creative tool... HOWEVER when you're a dinosaur creator (been around a while) You come to know that the longer it takes you to embrace new technologies, tools and techniques... The more difficult the game of "catch up" is when you realize your closed mindedness (and even ignorance) was or can be a very serious mistake!
I've been in the fights from freehand graphic design/layout to desktop publishing/clip art (think that was one of the toughest leaps) freehand illustration/airbrushing to using ipad .. 2d film to digital, painting wall murals to using large format print... even custom painting motorcycles/snow mobiles/jet skies to wrapping and many other forms of art I tried to master.
Each step to new felt kinda felt soul crushing BUT did I ever consider going back to the "old" once I did? Rarely.. If ever. I guess Ive never really been nostalgic or anything... I can let go.
It's just really difficult realizing you sacrificed so much blood, sweat, tears, time and money into something that gets pretty much wiped out by something so much easier, cheaper and faster to do! Then the bitterness against the creators of the community kicks in... "OHhh! That's not REAL art", "There's no skill in THAT", "There goes my job" etc etc... Ya... you really need to suck it up or go find another career (unless you're financially well enough to just keep doing your thing ..sales, success or not)

Anyhow... I don't think I'd want to lose my love to create so much I didn't care enough about changes and the impact they can make. I wouldn't want to be someone so easily swayed by crowds or everything new either!

First off, a massive shoutout for breaking down Stable Diffusion XL in your video! As someone deeply intrigued by the technical nuances of generative AI, your content was incredibly enlightening.

I had no idea something this potent was available at zero cost! This discovery is super motivating, and I'm hyped to dive into it. On a side note, I'm planning to run this on my Dell XPS 17. I'm curious to see how it'll fare given its reputation for graphic-heavy tasks.

Keep producing such insightful content! It's videos like these that propel the community forward. Can't wait to see what you'll cover next.

As someone who's trained to do concepts I love ai as a tool to help bring ideas to the screen, not everyone has the technical skills, time or money for design tools, so with the proper objectives or conceptualizations ai is for sure the best thing that ever happened

You take the time and explain many things in a relaxed and fun way! Some new processors such as Intel's Meteor Lake will incorporate new dedicated AI capabilities. Will you be reviewing those as they come out?

It's pretty crazy how far AI has come. A short time ago I only saw it in things related to texts but now it can practically do everything. I'm very excited to see what else can be done in the future
