Cheery King and Queen Pose in Front of Rome’s Colosseum

The King and Queen posed in front of Rome’s Colosseum and greeted fans as they enjoyed one of the surviving marvels of the Roman world. The couple stood just metres from a ruined temple dedicated to Venus, the Roman goddess of love, and Rome on the eve of their 20th wedding anniversary. Charles and Camilla turned to look at the crowds below them who cheered and they acknowledged them with a wave. Report by Tony Farag.

Italy has been an amazing and very friendly host country. King Charles and Queen Camilla are perfect together, but equally quite comfortable, walking around and conversing with different attendees very well.
