Sport karate vs full contact💪

People just don't realize the level of control needed to land cleanly in sports karate without using too much power. Those people have unbeliveable speed and accuracy.

I did sport karate for 13 years. Let me tell you.. had we not been taught control there would be serious injuries. We still kicked, punched and spun hard and fast, however the absolute beauty of muscle memory that we learned from exercising control was stunning to see.

Lol my style of karate is a variation of kyokushin, and so we do full contact sparring, which in my opinion, is was more fun the points.

Full contact is not for me. Too
much damage is less manageable in the long run. But I find it mesmerizing how you can adapt the same techniques as needed. Great vid as always.

Karate > Muay thai for me. Literally just go full force with power and you can pretty much match muay thai
