LOCAL DEMOCRACY RALLY - GUNDAGAI INTERVIEW

Gundagai is under threat of amalgamation with Cootamundra – a far bigger town. There is no community of interest.
The council head office would be in Cootamundra and we would lose lots of professionals and their spouses and kids. Gundagai is an iconic country town - steeped in Australian history.
Now we have another threat in a three way merger with Harden.
We have had very little support from our local National Party member. We are looking to put up a strong independent candidate at the next election.
