Cellular Respiration Introduction, part 1

In this video, Mr. W introduces cellular respiration. The video covers the structure of ATP; how ATP is used to power cellular work; the formula for cellular respiration; the four phases of cellular respiration, and how substrate level phosphorylation generates ATP during glycolysis and the Krebs cycle.

This overview is exactly what I needed! My professor talked so happily about tiny details of each steps for hours and hours but I could not understand what the f was going on. Now it feels like pieces of knowledge are connected. Idk if it's just me, but I always prefer having bigger picture first and then start studying about details. Why does every molecular/cellular bio start with the smallest components? It all becomes memorization rather than understanding the function.
Songs are catchy and great as well but this was even more helpful for me. Thanks for the great content!
