My family owns a Vios XE. It is really a very dependable car. I really don't mind if other people/reviewers consider it as a very common model. According to our neighbor who is a veteran mechanic, one of the advantages of the Vios is the extensive supply of spare parts throughout the country. The Toyota Vios is indeed the Philippines' version of 'the people's car' (the English translation of Germany's 'Volkswagen') :)

It is priced almost as other's top of the line variants, but at least you get 5 adjustable headrest for each passengers, a maplight and a domelight. Also has safety features that even others at higher price point doesn't have. The lack of other accessories like alloy wheels, foglamps, keyless entry are alright, it can be bought aftermarket.

Kudos for reviewing the lower variants, these are mostly what people buy anyways

At that price with an automatic gearbox, 7 airbags, ABS, stability control and proven reliability over decades, why would you even want to consider something else? All the competitors are left desperately trying to catch up.

I remember the struggle of opening a window using brute force 😂 especially when you're alone and trying to open the passenger side window 😂😂

Im just regular commuter no car and no car expert. Pero napapansin ko through times toyota lalong tumitibay even running 20yrs. Ung revo ng tito ko up unto now good condition going 17yrs. Binata pa ako un ung sinasakyan namen. Ung mga spare parts ng toyota lalong dumarami. Unlike sa ibang brands like honda tumatagal lalong nagmamahal at mga spare parts pahirapan.

I got the 1.5 E variant. Reason why i get u said it at the end of the video . Its a Toyota so higher resale value in the future. Reliable and perfect for the city . Cold aircon even when the car is stuck in traffic . Fuel consumption is amazing i get around 520 KM per full tank which is not bad at all . The only thing i did change in the car was the wheels as i installed a 16 inch rims for added stability and looks as well

No stick for the manual side mirrors? This makes a 90's car look modern

Toyota Vios 98 Horse Power while Honda City 120 Horse Power. Same price range from Vios E and City MT. Honda City is way more elegant, reliable, and solid engine. 😊

This was only released after we bought the j variant, too late as we didn't know they would. Would love to have an automatic one but the e variant is out of our budget.

Right all variants have hill start assist really great for new manual drivers. No more handbreak method.

Honest testimonial here. I LEFT MY PHONE AT THE CAR ROOF AND DROVE 6KMS AND STILL HAVE MY PHONE THERE.

I went to work which is about 6 kms from my home. Road is a mix of the typical barangay pavement and national hi way traffic. My garage is newly built and does not have lights yet. Fearin to step on some dog poofs I lit my cellphone flashlight and put it upside down on the car roof. For some reason I forgot to get my phone and began my travel to work and it was on the last 1km before work that I realized that I dont have my phone in my pocket or inside the car. I hurriedly drove and parked and checked the roof and surprisingly my phone was there. Luckily there were some moist that created some sort of a vacuum (not exactly sure if that is the right term) that made the phone stucked to where I left it

Just kudos on Vios XE's riding comfort and suspension.
