I was here when you did this first time years ago. I was in high school and all i knew was I liked computers. I did not understand anything in here (although I had started learning js and thought I knew everything). years later, I am employed as a Front end developer and I have tried most routes in this roadmap.

I'm not trying to be cheeky but I'm just realizing without you I could not find what I enjoyed in life. Thank you for what you do.

This is by far the best web developer roadmap I've watched on YouTube. Very detailed and doesn't confuse a newbie like some others do. Thanks a lot for this 😃

My mind is constantly hammering the thought "you're too old to start now" but I'm not going to let it do that.
I'm going to start this now, at 26, and I'm going to get there some day.

I should be finished learning all this by 2030.

Hey guy, Thanks a million, I am just now considering a career in coding, and I was feeling overwhelmed just trying to figure out what the job is about. NO BODY besides you ever thought of making a flow chart-mind-map of the whole career process and explaining the whole scope of careers from start to finish.

This road-map is a life saver. Thanks again, and I look forward to following your tutorials.

I've found the hole in my town that needs to be filled finally. We have lots restaurants opening in my area, but they don't have websites! I want to build them, sell them, maintain them, and connect them to apps that deliver for them! But... this is so overwhelming. I'm about to begin this journey! Wish me luck.

In 2015-2016, when you made the first one of these, I was learning web development and have yet to get my first job in web development. I didn't know it then, but 2016 was extremely complicated in JS frontend world with frameworks coming out every week. I used your videos to narrowed down on what to learn and found your way of presentation very entertaining.

Long story short, I've worked in several web development and software engineering jobs over the years and currently work at my own web consultancy in SF. Your vids were an important part of my journey when I started out and now I recommend it to new web devs entering the industry. Thanks a bunch.

Absolutely incredible. I have been coding for about 1.5 years now as a hobby and your videos is what keeps me pushing it further.
This roadmap is going to be amazing for keeping my head straight and setting up realistic and easily achievable goals. Thank you once again for these videos!

When I see this, I say thank goodness that I dropped out of college because they weren't teaching anything of this stuff, but they were charging me thousands to learn the basics.

Hey there! Since last few months, I've been consistently looking out for this particular video of yours, it was a bit disappointing not to find it, but here it is, can't really thank you enough for mentoring and being such an amazing tutor. For me, I see you as an authority(or kinda yardstick, a touchstone) bcoz, I come across most people on daily basis with "discouraging" attitude, talking only the downfalls of the modern tech, pessimistic opinions of their own, and what not. This obviously affects in one way or the other, no matter how hard I try to maintain my posture (in terms of my credibility, practice and implementation). But, when I see your work and use it in my real-world projects, I derive an exponential pleasure, seeing the code work wonders. Ever indebted and a deep reverence that no cloud can host... Lol.. thanks!!

As a long time developer that's taken a break from day-to-day development in the past few years, I found this a great way to brush up on the latest trends. Love the road map presentation. Great work!

I can't believe I found my way through this map (having never seen it). Believe me, this is a great resource for navigating this industry. Outstanding video.

This is fantastic, thanks for taking the time and effort to really break it down! The world of software development is massive and daunting looking from the outside in.

Started watching 2015, no clue, lots of failed clunky projects, had a hard time with html and css. Now I do devops + full stack. As usual awesome content man. Can't wait for the next roadmap. Huge fan.

Since I was 12, I've always said I wanted to learn to code. I'm not even sure where it came from but it's always been an interest of mine, especially with the idea of doing it full-time as a professional. I tried learning how to code off and on for years with basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, Visual Basic, and C#, taking programming in high school and a few coding courses, but never really being able to go anywhere after I learned some of these languages. It's been hard trying to learn when I don't really have a clear path to learn with. But here it is, April 3rd, 2020, at 18 years old and I finally have some sort of guide towards practically using code especially for web development. Thank you for this video, because this is going to eliminate the frustration I've had for years, and turning coding into a passion, and maybe even a career of mine one day.

I remember watching the Web Development in 2016 video because it give me an overall visual map and what I needed to learn and 5 years later I am a confident front end dev at a great company ❤️
