I'm thrilled that you're on the debt-free bandwagon!!! A debt-free life IS chic! Curating our life and living with intention goes hand-in-hand with chic frugality. 😊

Yes please to the financial series! This should not be a taboo topic. I have to imagine it is much easier to be poised when one is not weighted down with financial stress. Welcome back and enjoy your travels.

Hi Jennifer my name is Janet I am 62 years young a mother grandmother and great grandmother here in the uk, my husband and I live in a village in the middle of the country we have 4 children all grown now and we made the choice to live a more simple life so that I could be at home with our family as they grew into the adults we are now very proud of 😊. Because of our choices we lived as debt free as possible until we could be completely debt free so congrats and well done to you and your husband in putting your family first. I am a big fan of your blog videos and books and I think they are good example of how one can live a well rounded happy cultured life in this time of must have that we seem to live in. Good luck to you all on your journey I wish you well xx

This is all such wonderful news! How blessed your children are to not only be homeschooled by you, but to be traveling to Europe as a part of their education as well! As a new homeschool educator myself, and someone who has considered you a mentor for years, let me just say congratulations on the decisions you and your husband are making for your family. I am so, so happy for you. And there is no doubt you are following the Spirit of the Lord in making them. 💛

Hi Jennifer, you are such an inspiration. Your videos continue to be something I look forward to regularly. I would love to hear more about your debt free living journey, homeschooling, etc while also being chic! I believe experiences bring more happiness than possessions ever will. How amazing that you get to give your girls that.

I've watched your videos for years about the 10-item wardrobe but have so much more appreciation for your books and channel now that I'm a wife and mother. I recently read your three books while on maternity leave, and I feel that it's given us great inspiration and ideas for running our household as working parents. Thanks and looking forward to new content.

Congrats on the debt free life! My husband and I only have our mortgage. It's not worth it to keep up with the Jonses! I think it's so important to talk about these things because it's so easy to covet what others have. Would love to hear more about this journey. Glad you are back!

This may sound corny and so not chic but I didn't realise how much I missed your videos until I watched this one. It was like sitting down for a cuppa and catch up with an old friend. Hope you have a lovely time over here in the uk. Lots of wonderful historical places to visit and plenty of afternoon tea to be drunk. X

I have told my husband a few times how surprising it is to see any negative comments here, particularly after you clearly explain things in your videos beforehand {tire trucks to the rescue, ripped jeans, etc.} so I am very happy to see that you have sweetly, and as politely and respectfully as possible, addressed that ~ I'm sure that couldn't have been easy for you. Along with many other viewers I'm excited about your positive life changes and the positive comments I always see by well-wishers. And yes, I too am interested in your travel experiences, living debt-free, home-schooling and anything else you would care to share with us as we strive toward more fulfilling, meaningful, less stressful lives.

It would be wonderful if you did a series on European culture, living, and customs. How does your husband's family celebrate Christmas? What are people's material ownership expectations in England? What do people wear during holiday dinners? Etc. So many video topics!

Jen, this video just makes me love you all the more. My hubby and I are debt free (in SoCal even) and it is a fabulous feeling. Both of our sons are young adults and they are very smart financially from simply watching us. I love the idea of the homeschooling while you travel abroad. I think it is wonderful that you are sharing all of this!

Yay for debt-free living! Thanks for your authenticity and encouragement. As a homeschooling mom it's such a privilege to be able to teach and lead my children. I love what a previous poster wrote about allowing your children to choose an interest they love and help them explore it. A couple other little tips:

1. Get outside to do a little school work if you can. Reading, writing etc outside can really change the mood.

2. Some days aren't going to always go as planned. Try not to worry if you have to just let things go for a day.

That's all I really have! I'm still learning and can't wait to see where this journey takes your family.
