Brimsley is the only one who truly knows queen Charlotte. He is the most dedicated staff. I cried when queen Charlotte said take two steps back. He is a loyal friend and servant.

It breaks my heart at the very end to see him dancing and reminiscing the good old days when he was in love it brings tears to my eyes. Everybody deserves love in this world!

I loved that we weren’t only able to see the King and Queen’s backstory but also some of Brimsley’s at the same time. In both seasons 1 and 2, not many people saw Brimsley as an important character because he was only seen as Queen Charlotte’s main attendant. But now, I think many see a new light to him and will be for the rest of the Bridgerton series.

Brimsley and Reynolds were so devoted to their roles in protecting the King and Queen It had to pull them apart as George's mental health declined. But man they were a helluva couple and it was a helluva ride.

I hope they got some semblance of a happy ending.

Tbh, I always thought Brimsley was a bitter person who never bothered with anyone, but when I saw the scenes with him and Reynolds, especially that dancing scene, it killed me. I cried so hard became I figured they would grow old together at the palace but Brimsley was alone 🥺😔

She asked that question because her and the king already knew of their affection. So in a way she was trying to play it off and act like she didn’t know.

But they lived a beautiful life working, along side, together. Watching the king and queen raise their children. Unmarried. Catching moments. Until he suddenly passed away four years ago.

But they definitely saw each other as old men. And lived as close and as lovingly as they were allowed to that that timed permitted.

i think that as the king became more secluded and reynolds' main duty is to be with the king, reynolds wasn’t able to meet brimsley as frequently. hopefully they're still together, even if distant.

I still cry whenever I think of that scene where Brimsley was dancing alone by the end of the last episode. Breaks my heart to pieces.

My mom and I watched this together, and the last scene where we see Brimsley dancing alone had us both breaking down in tears. I still tear up just thinking about it

I loved their love story it explained why brimsley was the way he was in the end but he and reynolds never got the ending they deserved.

My ending is that this was Charlotte's way of making peace. She knew she was dying in 1818 (which is when the series takes place one year prior) as she prepared to leave the world. She forces her children to find happiness of a real marriage and produce an heir and is telling Brimsley that when she dies to go back and be happy with Reynolds.
