This scene was perfection. He was ready to try again if she was ‘willing’. He read emotions on her face before every step. And the kiss… he kissed her and checked again if every thing was alright THEN continued. And when she broke the kiss he did not understand what was wrong and he froze for a moment but when she smiled (which is hard to see with that angle 3:18) he relieved and smiled back.
