About Poppy Playtime
Poppy Playtime is a first-person survival horror where the player plays as a former employee of Playtime Co. who returns to the abandoned toy factory of said company after receiving a letter from the staff who were thought to have disappeared 10 years ago. The player discovers that the factory is filled with toys who are alive and malicious towards them, and starts looking for a way to escape the premises. Various VHS tapes can be found throughout the factory, each one giving a more in-depth explanation of the story.

The game utilizes multiple puzzles throughout, which the player must solve in order to progress further, with some requiring a gadget named the GrabPack, a backpack that can be equipped with two extendable hands which can be used to pull and reach objects from a far distance, conduct electricity, and access certain doors; in Chapter 2, it can also be used to swing across gaps and, with a green hand obtained during gameplay, transfer electricity between sources.

Plot
Chapter 1 – A Tight Squeeze
The player receives a package that contains a VHS tape, which shows a commercial for the titular doll Poppy Playtime and tours of the factory before abruptly cutting to spliced-in footage of graffiti of a poppy, and a letter from the missing staff, requesting them to "find the flower". They then enter the abandoned toy factory and, after solving the code to a security door, acquire the GrabPack, which they use to unlock the door to the lobby. After entering the lobby, the player is introduced to Huggy Wuggy, who is on display in the center of the room. While trying to unlock one door in the lobby, the power suddenly cuts, forcing them to restore power in the power room.

After heading back to the lobby, they discover that Huggy has disappeared from his display. The player then restores power to a control panel in order to control an overhead crane and retrieve the right hand of the GrabPack, which they use to unlock a hatch to a conveyor belt that leads to the "Make-a-Friend" section of the factory, where they restore power to the machinery and manufacture a toy. They then place the toy in a scanner and open a door to a hallway which, after the player enters, Huggy suddenly appears from and chases the player through the vents. After reaching a dead-end, the player pulls down a box and breaks part of the conveyor belt, causing Huggy to fall to the bottom of the factory. They then head to the aforementioned graffiti and open a door to a hallway, leading to a room where they find Poppy in a case which the player opens, freeing Poppy.

Chapter 2 – Fly in a Web
After freeing Poppy from her case, the player explores the back halls of the factory, eventually finding the office of Elliot Ludwig, Playtime's founder. After entering the vents in the office, they encounter Poppy, who thanks them for freeing her and offers to help them escape the factory by giving them a code to activate the factory's train. However, she is grabbed and pulled deeper into the factory. As they approach the Game Station where the train is located, the player encounters Mommy Long Legs, who holds Poppy hostage and takes the red hand from the player's GrabPack. She challenges the player to win the three games in the Game Station, and in return will give the player the code for the train, threatening to kill them if they disobey the rules. Making their way through the factory, the player crafts the green hand for the GrabPack and then proceeds through the three games.

The player is able to obtain two parts of the code before escaping during the third game, fleeing into the tunnels beneath the factory.

I like dogday, kickenchiken, craftycorn, bobby bearhug, pickypiggy, hoppy hopschotch, and bubba the elephant are doing rock paper scissors and theyre choose dogday and he's gonna count to 10 on the pillar and pickypiggy, hoppy hopschotch, bubba the elephant, bobby bearhug, craftycorn, and kickenchiken are gonna hide and catnap is here and he's gonna sneak on dogday and hoppy hopschotch sees the carrots and she loves it and she jumped on the hole and catnap knows that its easy to make her fall and pickypiggy found the picnic basket and she's gonna eat the fruits and bobby bearhug is gonna hide on the umbrella and bubba the elephant is hiding on the water barrel and catnap is on the water barrel and he knows that he wont but he will and kickenchiken and craftycorn are gonna hide on the grass cutboard and catnap is on the top of the cloud and dogday is gonna find them and he sees hoppy hopschotch is on the hole and catnap is here on the ground and he use the sleeping has on hoppy hopschotch and he gets her and dogday cant find hoppy hopschotch on the hole and catnap is gonna cover the trunk on bubba the elephant and he use the sleeping gas on him and he takes him and dogday is gonna find bubba the elephant on the water barrel and he almost died and pickypiggy is hiding on the picnic basket and dogday is gonna find her and catnap gets pickypiggy and dogday cant find her and he heard picky's voice and catnap is gonna close the umbrella on bobby bearhug and he takes her and kickenchiken and craftycorn are hiding on the grass cutboard and catnap is here with kickenchiken and craftycorn and kickenchiken and craftycorn are telling catnap to know what did he want from them and catnap use the sleeping gas on them and dogday is tired and he sees the red smoke on the door and he's going to the door and he sees hoppy hopschotch, bubba the elephant, pickypiggy, bobby bearhug, kickenchiken, and craftycorn are got chained up and theyre got no legs and kickenchiken tells dogday to help and catnap is here with dogday and he has bobby bearhug's leg on his mouth and he eats it and he's burping and he tells dogday that his friends are doomed and he use the sleeping gas and dogday doesnt want to die and he's gonna climb on the door and he's falling and catnap is gonna eat him just like them and dogday tells him to dont make him use his move and he punchs catnap and dogday is running away and catnap is gonna get him and dogday is hiding on the wall and catnap found him on the wall and dogday is running and he got trapped and he tells catnap to know why did he want to do this to them all and catnap tells him that did he remember the hour of joy he want to bring it back and he use the sleeping gas and bobby bearhug is gonna break the chain and catnap got dogday and dogday knows that the hour of joy only brought chaos and catnap is gonna eat him and bobby bearhug is gonna fight catnap and pickypiggy and hoppy hopschotch are gonna fight him and pickypiggy bites catnap's leg and she bites catnap's fur and hoppy hopschotch is scratching catnap's stomach and bobby bearhug is scratching catnap's stomach too and catnap throws them and he got kickenchiken and craftycorn and he hits them and he stepped kickenchiken and he's gonna punch bobby bearhug, hoppy hopschotch, and bubba the elephant and dogday punchs catnap and bobby bearhug, hoppy hopschotch, and pickypiggy are safe now and dogday is gonna stitch hoppy hopschotch's legs and pickypiggy and kickenchiken are got legs and theyre running and craftycorn and bubba the elephant are got legs and theyre hugging each other and bobby bearhug is sad and she has no legs and he knows that catnap ate her legs and dogday got an idea and catnap is waking up and he has no legs and bobby bearhug got catnap's legs and catnap is crying and dogday, bobby bearhug, and kickenchiken are laughing at him and i like it hornstromp😁
