Got the Nike Pegasus 41 for $49 during a sale at my local outlet store. Brand new. For the price I’m not worried about being disappointed I’ll use it for casual runs low mile days.

As somebody who used to live in Greenwich and North Greenwich your footage is always so nostalgic. Great authentic video as always, thanks Ben.

Love that SL2 so much, I bought two pairs! These really are versatile! I can do any type of run in them and feel good! Factor in the price, and they're even better!

I love the Skyward X. I originally bought it for easy recovery runs to complement the Superblast, which is not great at going slow, but I enjoy the Skyward X so much that it has pretty much replaced the Superblast for all my daily running. As Ben mentioned, it’s got a comfortable, bouncy ride that’s so much fun to run in. I wasn’t sure about spending that much on a daily trainer, but considering how much it makes me want to get out and run, I’m glad I did.

The nike pegasus is a completely fine shoe, I had 2 pairs of the 37’s, 2 pairs of the 38’s, and now 2 pairs of the 40’s. Old fashioned daily trainer, arguably better for your muscles, than high-stacked plated shoes. (I also ran 1:17 for the half marathon and 16:22 for the 5k in them, so you can definitely pick up the pace using them!!)

I got a pair of the ZF6's on sale! Soooo happy with them! Nike addressed everything that was wrong with the ZF5's when they made this shoe. Finally a do it all trainer from Nike that competes well with other brands.

Great video Ben! I have just got myself a pair of Gel Nimbus 26 TR for £120 which I think is a steal on black Friday! I hope the TR version can improve the grip! Needed a comfy, easy/recovery shoe and remember you recommended it. Good luck in Valencia over the weekend 😁

I like Nike because it got all the kind of shoes for any level of runners and budget. On top of that they do the best looking shoe. I feel like the other running brands are too "flashy" and very indiscreet like Hoka, Brooks or Saucony even though i know they are among the better in quality but very pricey. As a personal choice, i hate paying 150$ and look like i run in stacks of fluffy pancakes.
Nike have the Revolution for low budget beginner runner. Zoom, Flyknit and Pegasus for upper-beginner + intermediate and then Alphafly for the more experienced runners. Aesthetically, Nike looks phenomenal. And quality...well i feel like you get what you pay for ! I bought my Pegasus 41 electric for only 97£. Amazing stuff !

As a brand new runner I don't really have anything to compare to, but I loved my Peg 41s. I even bought the Nike Trail 5s for running in the wet as I was enjoying the 41s so much.

Adidas SL2... what a shoe! It cost me £85 on discount and is the best shoe I have purchased for years. A definite MUST 👌

I'm in complete agreement in regards to the Peg 41 not being a running shoe. I use mine for gym stuff and casual wear only. I wouldn't ever entertain running in them purely because there are just far too many better options out there to run in. Just purchased the ZF6 and did a 7 mile Tempo sesh in them yesterday and they felt ok. They are loud like the alphafly's 😂 Next purchases for me are the Evo SL and the Pro 4 😎

The SL2 caught me off guard, I’ve not been an adidas fan.

However picked up a pair for £67, was blown away.

So second pair bought for £55.

My easy day rotations between this and the Superblast 2 next year will be super foam fun all around

my rotation: structure 25 for recovery, vomro 17 for daily and long runs, rebel 4 for pre race and easy workouts, alphafly 3 for tempo and road races, vaporfly 3 for threshold, victory 2 for track races, og dragonfly for xc races

I'm on Novablast 3 & 4, Invincible 3 and recently got SL2 and it was so good for speed run as it was light and the cushioning was very noticeable.

Regarding Nike shoes - they are all different in fit. Pegasus is shallow around ankles so it doesn't rub them but its initial feel is like it won't hold your leg well and it will slip out. After running I don't have that sensation but it's different compared to the competition. Vomero has an insole going high into the arch on the medial side so I can't wear them. Pegasus Plus feels baggy and it deforms weirdly at the sides of the forefoot. It feels like the tapered forefoot with racing strip came from a different shoe and Flyknit sides were sewn into the strip. Invincible 3 works for me just fine. I wonder what kind of foot they use for shoe shape modeling because it feels inconsistent.

I bought a set of Cliftons because they were rated as durable and within a year I killed a pair Midsole worn
outsole chipping away
Finally had to replace them when they blew out while I was running

Please make a video for shoes with stability support as being an overpronator, it is hard to get any proper guide or video on those shoes.

Totally agree on the Zoom Fly 6, I absolutely love them, replaced Magic Speed 4 for my speed sessions (I am a massive Asics fan): I still prefer Superblast for my long runs but when I hit the track I have no doubt on what shoe to use! I also bought the Adidas SL2 after seeing your first review, probably the best shoe in relation to price although I personally prefer Novablast.
