EEE Outbreak - What You Need To Know

Why are mosquitoes shutting down towns in Massachusetts? The area is experiencing an outbreak of EEE, or Eastern equine encephalitis. This mosquito-borne virus causes flu-like symptoms in 95% of cases, and dangerous brain inflammation in the remaining 5%. This brain inflammation can be fatal in 30% of cases, so health officials are taking serious precautions such as encouraging people to stay indoors from dusk to dawn, when mosquitoes are most active. This outbreak can be tied to climate change because warmer weather means longer mosquito seasons!

Interesting how a bunch of genetically modified mosquitoes have been released and also I think that was a few years ago wasn't that in the United States I must beg to ask the question though if climate change is anything to do with mosquito population and period of activity to prolong what does that statement at all have anything to do with the fact that it's the disease not the mosquitoes and the disease is in pockets small isolated areas and this is not a disease commonly found in America though now it seems to be popping up everywhere???? Just curious to a fault ♊🤔🥸
