Germany have been one of the most dominant sides so far at Euro 2024.

They’ve already qualified for the knockout stages after impressive wins over Hungary and Scotland.

Julian Nagelsmann looks to have put his Bayern Munich disappointment behind him and reinvented this Germany team, but what could the future hold for him beyond his time with the national team?

Michael Bailey is joined by The Athletic's Seb Stafford-Bloor & Liam Tharme to discuss.

Bayern made a massive mistake letting him go

Neuer also fits a bit better to this style of playing and structure - similar to the 2014 world cup. also back then Germany was questioned if there is a good defense by moving the structure relatively high up - which was also based on Neuers ability to play also outside the box ...

Big thanks to Kahn and Brazzo for sacking him for nothing so he can overtake our national team and bring us back on track.

One thing’s for sure, he’s better than Southgate.

5:23 That brilliant idea was actually tested when Flick was still in charge, shortly before he was sacked

Luis de la fuente has cuccurella looking like a competent wing back. That must be the greatest achievement of any coach since potter did it in Brighton

Nagelsmann's secret is optimization and automation, this is how perfection is achieved.

Germany beat France at their last 2 friendlies pretty convincingly. Granted that those French teams looked like they had their foot on the brake a bit, but doesn't France always look like that?

İ was very impressed by Nagelsmann at RB Leipzig. He is decent.

What sort of question is that, after just two games against far inferior sides? Germany is the host nation and has a long tradition of doing well in tournaments. They have the usual luck of getting into a comparatively easy group and have so far managed to not make fools of themselves. If that makes the coach a genius, then there are dozens of geniuses working in league football.

Insane question! Its Dalic! Two world cup medals back to back with a nation like croatia

"Is Julian Nagelsmann the best coach at the Euros?" Why is there a doubt about this thing?

Nagelsmann 🤝 Rangnick 🤝 Great German managers

refreshing topic, tired of the same old 'what should Southgate do?' talk everywhere again and again.. I really like the Musiala Havertz and Wirtz combination up front, so much movement and rapid passing

Nagelsmann is a super modern coach with a lot of expertise. BUT he tends to think too complicated and overwhelm players with his complex ideas. That's why the DFB (Rudi Völler) set Sandro Wagner as a wingman aside. Together are they some kind of complete...

You’ve only asked half the question. The other half of the question is who’s the worst coach. Or is the answer too obvious?

To sack him at Bayern was the worst decision of the worst management in Bayern Munic's history!!

22:53 you didn't mention Neuer was responsible for 3 of the last 4 goals Bayern conceded
