Το τρενάκι του Πηλίου ή αλλιώς ο "Μουτζούρης" αποτελεί ένα από τα μοναδικά αξιοθέατα σε όλο τον κόσμο. Η διαδρομή του συνδυάζει τα τοπία της πόλης με αυτά της θάλασσας, του βουνού και των γραφικών χωριών. Η μοναδικότητα του οφείλετε επίσης στο στενό πλάτος των σιδηροτροχιων που διαγράφουν μόλις 60εκ. Η κατασκευή της ξεκίνησε το 1894 με την επίβλεψη του μηχανικού Εβαρίστο Ντε Κίρικο και το 1895 ολοκληρώθηκε το τμήμα Βόλος-Ανω Λεχώνια η οποία ήταν 13χλμ. Η επέκταση της γραμμών μέχρι της Μηλιές τελείωσε το 1903 και ηταν 16χλμ. (Συνολικά 29χλμ.)
Πλέον τα τραίνα δρομολογούνται μόνο στο κομμάτι Άνω Λεχώνια-Μηλιές και είναι τουριστικά!

The train of Pelion or "Moutzouris" is one of the unique attractions all over the world. The route combines the landscapes of the city with those of the sea, the mountain and the picturesque villages. The uniqueness also owes to the narrow width of the rails, which are only 60cm. The construction begin in 1894 under the supervision of engineer Evaristo De Kirico and in 1895 the department of Volos-Ano Lechonia was completed, which was 13 km. The extension of the lines until Milies ended in 1903 and was 16 km. (Total 29 km)
Now the trains run only in Ano Lechonia-Milies and are a tourist attraction!
