To say Patrick Roy hated the Canadiens is a huge misrepresentation of what actually happened. No way did Patrick ever hate wearing the bleu blanc et rouge. That’s just insane to say different.

Leafs comment was dumb since it wasn't an actual situation of "a player hating the team" Patrick Roy hated Mario Tremblay who constantly mocked Roy for having mediocre English and French Canadian accent, there was a lot of bad blood between them before Roy left the Habs. Eric Lindros's agent/father convinced Lindros to not join the team since he was believed to be the same level as Gretzky and Mario Lemieux having him sit out his stint with the Nordiques until his trade to the Flyers, other incidents did occur but thats not why he didnt play for the Nordiques, who then labled him in the media as anti-French Canadian.

Roy hated the coach . He left because the GM wouldn’t fire him . Lindros had issues with the owner of the Nordiques and said he would never play for that owner’s team . At least that what he’s said after his career. I thought he just didn’t want to play in a small market but whatever. I think that owner was a douchebag and the Lindros trade basically built the Avalanche into a cup winning team.

Jeff Carter on the Philly Flyers clearly was Pissed to be traded to the Columbus Blue Jackets for Jakub Vorecek, Sean Courtier, and Nick Cousins . All Jeff Carter did was Party in Columbus and Play Like Crap to force the Blue Jackets to trade him to the LA Kings .
