Blessings to you this Christmas Season

Friends, Merry Christmas from all of us at Word on Fire. This season, might I encourage you to reflect on two things? The first is John’s great description of the Incarnation in his Gospel: “The Word became flesh and lived among us.” The second is the role of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of God, in bringing Christ to birth. But remember that these are not one-off events from long ago; they are ongoing events in the life of God’s people. How is Christ becoming flesh in you here and now? And how is Mary bringing him to birth in you today?
