Why did you chose black for your nav bar, we can't see a thing!
It may look cool later. So you coudl easily change the colour

Not sure if this is the right lecture, but think so. When the UL items went center, the letters are purple, but I see no rule calling for that, so its default? Also, the black background did NOT show up.

Hi EJ, thank you. At 1.55, when you replaced #navbar with #navbar ul, the height (35px) attribute is not included. However, even then, the navy remains at 35px. Was wondering about that. Could you please help out. Thank you again. I enjoy watching.

Hi EJ, I wonder why we need to add

#Navbar ul li {
display: inline;
}

outside of

#navbar ul {} ? If we look in between the <ul> </ul>, there is only the list <li> anyway?

If I add the "display: inline" under # navbar ul {}, what might have happened?

thanks for your enlightenment.

When I hover over the links they reverse in colour. But for some reason a large box appears for the new background which doesn't fit into the nav bar. Any reasons why this might be?

Hello EJ, I must be missing something vital in the CSS code, as I can't get the mouse to "hover" in Lesson 12 CSS Layout Tutorial. Everything else before this working smooth. Saved a copy of my html and css code as a PDF but don't know how I could send it to you.

I this question through not directly related to this project but an HTML attribute. Anyways the question is this: What is the purpose of the lang attribute? If you put in your HTML code what advantages will it give you?
