President Kenyatta calls for integration of the East African community

President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Ugandan counterpart President Yoweri kaguta Museveni have called for the hastening of the integration of the East African community to realize a strong economic bloc. The two leaders said for the region to effectively compete against their peers, the colonial border points must be broken. The leaders spoke as they opened a one stop custom border point in Busia along the Kenya Uganda border that is expected to enhance ease of doing business between the two countries.
