So just to clarify, are you supposed to spawn back AS SOON as you see the runes? Or does it not have to be as fast as possible?

For people that don't know, swinging the sword resets the 13 second automatic kill timer when falling. It's assumed by the speedrunning community that the reason you are getting kills/runes this way is because you've gone far enough away that the map has disappeared and all the enemies that were in the area are falling to their death.

I think they just patched this. When you go to the second pillar portion they put rocks where the platform used to be

I’ll stick to the bird and Albinaurics. I’m pretty positive the bird alone is a lot less trouble than the jump.

If you've got Sacred Relic Sword, I believe it is still faster to farm the Albinaurics. If not, I would definitely use this method as much as possible while it's still available.

I did this for the first time and I got ash of war: blood tax. Looks like this isn’t even an enemy drop, it’s an item pickup. Can anyone explain that?? Odd.

I bet I could get the same amount, if not more, from shooting the bird before you get through one run. You never fall, having to reset shooting the bird. This is a waste of time
