My rex121 sage will whittle hair off 400 grit cbn bench plate and a few passes on 1 micron diamond on roo leather. Gets extremely sharp even at a very aggressive 400 finish and has tons of bite excellent steel but I've been saying that for years from a couple custom Edc fixies I have in. Sharpens beautifully just keep it fairly coarse it it's just like maxamet is at higher grit finishes.

I used to have the same one. It is indeed razor sharp. And pretty durable as well
