Be dazzled by the magic of "Cirque de la Symphonie" in an exhilarating fusion of Cirque acts and classical and pops favorites for Pacific Symphony's pops show May 3-5, at 8 p.m. in the Renée and Henry Segerstrom Hall at 615 Town Center Drive, Costa Mesa, Calif. 92626. Assistant Conductor Maxim Eshkenazy conducts the orchestra as aerial fliers, acrobats, contortionists, dancers, jugglers and strongmen choreograph perform spectacular feats to the music.

The captivating evening, packed with 18 exciting classical and pops favorites, includes Copland's "Fanfare for the Common Man," John William's "Harry's Wondrous World" from "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone," and selections from Bizet's "Carmen," Tchaikovsky's "Swan Lake" and Andrew Lloyd Webber's "The Phantom of the Opera." The program also includes Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyries," Offenbach's Can-can from "Orpheus in the Underworld" and movements from Rimsky-Korsakov's "Capriccio Espagnol."
