Hi thanks for your review. However, I think you should turn down the background music when you speak, it's too loud. And you said you have an iPad - then it would have been nice to test the screen mirroring. But anyway, I have a nice introductory impression of the Sony player now!

Lovely player mate.I have one too.Did find though a few issues regarding plex & the inbuilt copyright control.Got a few rips that end up with no sound.I ended up with roku 3 & amazon fire tv units that handle plex better & will play all my rips with sound.Big Kodi fan too.This is a real belter though for amazon instant.I actually prefer the amazon app interface on this to what the fire tv actually offers.Yeah shame it ain't a little quicker but on the whole it's pretty good.Forget the web browser though it really stinks.

I've installed Plex on a PS3, PS4, Samsung and Sony TVs now. The client application differs slightly between each of these devices. I find the Samsung TV client, which looks the same here, works best. The PS3 client is very laggy and more simplistic.

Thanks for this review, I got a question about de smooth movements in a Bluray disc or in Netflix, Have you activated the auto motion plus in smooth opcion in both, I mean tv and this Bd H6500 at the same time, I ask this because I love the soap opera effect and I´d like to know if this effect is possible with this Bd model, besides my tv is able to show 240 hr´z but to improve this effect I need a bluray with this opcion.

I bought this a few days ago, but I'm unable to play my Shrek 3D blu ray disc. Why? Is it my TV problem? It plays the other 2D blu ray disc or DVD, and I've update to the latest firmware, but my Samsung BD-H6500 still doesn't play 3D blu-ray :(

I have a QNAP NAS as well streaming to an amazon fire. I am starting to do my movie library all MPEG which my old Sony bluray player played just fine off of my old seagate central system. However my amazon fire lags pretty bad on MPEG formats. does this player play MPEG formats through the plex app well?

I just installed plex on my 2014 Samsung TV and i am not impressed at all, how on earth do you manage to navigate through a large library of films if you can only see 6 on screen at any time (plus what it shows on the deck which i haven't figured out what it is yet). To me the layout sucks, there is a huge amount of screen real estate just wasted and its slow even with a dual core tv. I think i will be going to to KODI/XBMC which i know has its own set or problems but at least i can navigate my library.
