Μεγάλο σοκ στην Ουκρανική κυβέρνηση, που περιμένει πως και πως τη νέα Αμερικανική οικονομική βοήθεια, προκάλεσε ο πρώην Αμερικανός πρόεδρος Ντόναλντ Τραμπ, με δήλωση του, που πραγματοποίησε για το νομοσχέδιο που κατέθεσε στο Κογκρέσο, η πλευρά των Δημοκρατικών, παίρνοντας ξεκάθαρη θέση και ζητώντας από τους βουλευτές του κόμματος του, που να θυμίσουμε ότι έχουν την πλειοψηφία στη Βουλή των Αντιπροσώπων, να το καταψηφίσουν, μιλώντας μάλιστα με έναν οξύ τόνο, καθώς τους ζήτησε να μην είναι ηλίθιοι.
Η σοβαρή αυτή δήλωση του Ντόναλντ Τραμπ, η οποία θα μπορούσε να εκληφθεί και ως εντολή, έρχεται τη στιγμή που όλα δείχνουν ότι θα είναι αυτός, που θα αναμετρηθεί με τον νυν πρόεδρο Τζο Μπάιντεν στις επερχόμενες εκλογές του Νοεμβρίου, οπότε και ο λόγος του έχει τεράστια σημασία, αφού θέλει να στερήσει από τον αντίπαλο του, μια πολιτική επιτυχία, που θα αποκτήσει με την ψήφιση του νομοσχεδίου.
Γι΄αυτό και ο Τραμπ, ζήτησε από τους ρεπουμπλικάνους βουλευτές, την καταψήφιση του, με την αιτιολογία ότι χρειάζεται ένα ξεχωριστό νομοσχέδιο για το σοβαρότατο πρόβλημα της μετανάστευσης, που συγκλονίζει τις ΗΠΑ και να μην εμπεριέχει βοήθεια προς άλλες χώρες.
"Μην είστε ΗΛΙΘΙΟΙ!!! Χρειαζόμαστε ένα ξεχωριστό νομοσχέδιο για τα σύνορα και τη μετανάστευση.
Δεν πρέπει να συνδέεται με ξένη βοήθεια με κανένα τρόπο, σχήμα ή μορφή!", είπε ο Τραμπ.
