lightsaber spinning is very similar to bo staff spinning but I feel you can do more with a staff because you can hold it on different areas and let it touch your body

Funnily enough the spin is something obi wan never does otherwise
It only happened because the two knew each other's moves so perfectly that each lethal strike was garenteed to be blocked and perfectly countered without them even needing to commit, so it just resulted in a moderate amount of spinning
