So basically now makes no difference if you have 4x4090 and 2x6000 ADA for inference and training. Am I right?

A bit late to the party but have two machines to experiment with this on soon :D

- liquid cooled 6x 4090 with straight 16x mode plugged into a threadripper board
- air cooled 8x 4090s in 8x mode driven by retimers also in a threadripper board.

Going to try this out in the next few weeks, ended up biting the bullet and getting a 2x rtx 6000 Ada workstation with the plans of selling the 8x rig so I wish I saw this sooner.
