natural phenomena cause by tidal interaction of low and high tide.. this is also the area where you can see that the sea is not level.. on the pacific side the water is high while of the surigao side or inner portion, the water is low depending on the time of the tide.. the current is so swift because it is like a river or channel.. if you go island hoping in surigao you can see this natural wonder. . you will be amazed on the movement of the current. on the south of the islet the water is coming in while on the north of the islet the water is flowing out.. that's the wonder of surigao waters.. btw, there are so many islets in surigao which causes this amazing water movement..
