Scroll Saw Blade Basics - What's best for the beginner?

Confused by all the types of scroll saw blades that exist? Hopefully this explanation will help. I'll explain the types you're likely to find, what they look like up close, and what all the different numbers mean.

In general, think small for very small precise cuts, and larger for thicker materials or wider spaces. However, you'll want to pay attention to how aggressive the blade is too. If it's cutting faster than you can keep up with because you need more practice, you should switch back to a smaller blade and go slow.
