Why does the Hennessey Venom F5 have the wing?

Edit: I think I know why it has the wing. Basically, the standard wing on the F5 produces downforce and therefore slows the car down at higher speeds. But the other wing produces more downforce, right? You can tune the downforce on the Forza aero, and I'm assuming that if you tune the downforce all the way down on the Forza wing, it produces less downforce than the standard wing, even though that doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
