I was so happy to see The Starless Sea as your fav. It's absolutely my favorite of the year and quite possibly my all time top favorite. It's just stunning. I read this at the very beginning of the year and I think of it daily. I BAWLED when I finished because I missed it so much already.

THE STARLESS SEA!! it’s my favorite book of all time! Truly, I don’t know if I will ever read a book that I love more than it lol. I loved honey girl and the read dragon festival so much this year they were exactly what I needed. Also, totally planning on reading the once and future witches asap cause it definitely seems like a book I would love

My favorites Dark rise, house in the cerulean sea and folk of the air trilogy

I very much enjoyed the broken earth trilogy by N.K. Jemisin. Hit all the categories for me. Phenomenal story, Thought provoking, incredible prose, fairly lengthy… also enjoyed all the current ACOTAR books (for different reasons lol) Crescent City From blood and earth, the shadow and bone trilogy, 1 and 2 of the murderbot diaries by Martha Wells, the final Practical Magic book by Alice Hoffmann….among others! Lots of excellent reading this year. Must keep going! Happy reading All!
