Of course I watch this because of your fine explenation. But the timbre of your voice makes the listening especially pleasing. Do you sing as an hobby? Btw I really like your art. Thank you.

Great video, thank you!
When I saw the thumbnail I was looking forward to somebody explaining highlight placement *(I see there is a part you cut out about it but I think I get the picture)* as there aren’t many that do. Or at least not explained to a point where I could understand it 😂. *(I could never quite understand what artists mean by “in relation to the viewer”, because if I’m looking at a photo, isn’t my “viewing” of it where the camera was set up to view/capture it? So how do I find the angles for the highlight? Likewise with a painting...)* The way I’ve always understood highlights and used them is almost as the counterpart to a core shadow; another way to turn the form or to “turn a corner”. I don’t think I really explained myself clearly... but thank you again!

gonna have to watch this a few more times cause I don't really understand at the moment but I can tell it will be of great use in my learning. I quite literally only started to study drawing a month ago and I am noticing there is a lot of terminology I am missing😂
