Scarborough shoal is not a disputed area. UNCLOS already ruled that Scarborough shoal is within the EEZ of the Philippines. Moreover, historically, this area has been part of the Philippines hundreds of years ago as evidenced in the maps drawn by explorers.

I don't think that China will give in to any compromise. It is clear that they want to grab what isn't theirs. The fight now is like David and Goliath. The Philippines is a peaceful and prayerful nation. I know in my heart that China will bend on it's knees. We must all seek Gods intervention in this chaos. This might sound funny specially those who are on the side of the enemy. One thing's for sure. Heavens justice may come a while but definitely permanent. I call my fellow Filipinos to make a daily prayer.
